God Is Love
She stares at me through glass,
Scans me for imperfections,
I can see it in her eyes as they
Wander;
Tries to pick me apart like
A vulture snapping up a carcass,
She tries to tear me up,
Hurt my pride;
But I stare back and smile softly,
I am beautiful and wonderfully made,
I know I may not be to society, but
I am in God's eyes;
And if I am perfectly made to Him,
Who else need I please?
There is no one like Him, He knows me
Inside and out;
There is no one more awesome than God,
No one and nothing can take His place, He is
Eternally Blessed, Holy, His Love is
Forever;
He tells me my role in this life,
Simply Love and Forgiveness,
Not Condemnation nor Judgement,
It's not my place to do so;
And because of this I will follow
Where He leads because He
Is Kindness, Mercy, Savior,
And Love itself...
