God Is Good
God u are my strength and my rock when all goes dark
U are the street light when traveling thru an unlit park
And even when the part of life gets hard and trying find
The start of something new in order to embark a journey
That might be beneficial after all
God u are so good tho
N I know that after all the tiresome nights
Long days n fight after fight of doing wrong saying
It's In the name of right
Drunken words and pissed off plights and smoked hazed
Conversations and long ass working nights
Crazed
Missing time weeks and holidays on 10-12 hour shifts
Working like a slave for a buck and can't even get past
Minimum wage
Lord Jesus thank you for being so great
Because they all these things u never turned me away
Always forgiving always merciful always even when I went astray
Thank u God for all the times I disobeyed and u still have ur hands open
For me to be saved
Thank you lord for being who you are anyway
Throughout all the ways that I show otherwise but
Somehow u are still by my side.....thank u Jesus
