God Is
God is eternal in all His nature
supremely self existent to be sure
has no beginning will never end
holds everything together to endure
God is spirit so cannot be seen
but sees everything all the time
His eternal eyes looks on everybody
even knowing our value to last dime
God is holy three times holy
perfect in His every attribute
no one can look on him and live
for man's sinful from head to foot
God is love perfect in every sense
this love caused Him to send His son
Jesus Christ to be this world's saviour
for He alone is the righteous one
God is in Jesus co equal supremely so
part of trinity of father son and holy ghost
a mystery indeed that's unexplainable
only God Himself indeed truly knowest
