God I Know

God I Know
By Franklin Price

God I know you are all seeing
Can help us climb up every hill
Not all interfering
Allow us our own free will

Can't help all the foolish
Can't help them when they fall
Think they know all there is to it
Don't believe in you at all

Don't believe that you can help them
Don't believe you really can
Think selfishly of number one
Of themselves their biggest fan

God help those when willing
To accept all that you give
Not those who boldly ask for
The extras in the life they live

Help all out there when trying
To help their fellow man
Who do what they can for others
Do the very best they can

Who help out with the needy
Look out for the poor
Find roofs for the homeless
Give from their pockets and much more

Respect what you have to offer
Don't blame you for it all
Accept the things they can control
Don't pass the bouncing ball

These are those that you should help
That don't do it for show
I ask that you will help them
You will do this God I know
