God Has Made a Way

There is a God who made all things
I’ve seen him and I’ve been above
I know about the good He brings
And life is made by His great love

Heaven is as real as Earth
They beauty is beyond compare
There really is a brand new birth
And we’ll soon meet Jesus in the air

It was all so good when it began
But then evil came and they chose sin 
And the devil took the Earth from man
He’s the liar and brought the evil in

God sent His Son to give us hope
All good, it comes from Him above
Bad choices gave us no more rope
Yes, God is life and God is love

Religion is not what God had planned
But He sent His Son to show the way
Religion wanted Jesus banned
And they tried to take our Lord away

Each person’s evil in his heart
They lie and cheat and steal and kill
Choosing evil seems their part
And their father is the devil still

Christ died for us while sinners still
All evil’s from the evil one not God
God made a way in Jesus, a better will
That He gives eternal life seems odd

If you believe He died for you
And call Him Lord it in the words you speak
He gives everlasting life, it’s true
It is the hope inside we seek

He raised the dead and healed them all
Gave God’s example as He should
To the whole world He gives His call
What He did we can and do the good

Call to Him, be born-again to life
Past sins are all then washed away
Don’t bring them up or search for strife
They are gone, forgotten, far away

The devil’s here to trip us up
To try to trap us as we walk
He offers you his empty cup
And puts evil in the words we talk

There is none righteous, no not one
I’m not good, not me, not you, not any 
We need the life that’s in God’s Son
Though we’ve been bad and our sins many

To God a thousand years is as a day
And a day is as a thousand years
So time is not to Him as we might say
But God’s in charge and judgment nears

There is an evil enemy that’s loose
Who seeks to steal, to kill and to destroy
He’ll tie around your neck a noose
Don’t listen to evil one’s new ploy

Jesus is the truth, the life, the way
True life is supernatural for sure
Open up your heart and give Him sway
You will find His life and love is pure

Richard Lamoureux April 25, 2015 at 9:28 AM I always find it interesting how non believers seem to think believers lack intelligent thought. Like you I have pondered these thoughts and in the end faith came by having God show me over and over that He is true to his word. For me the intricacy of the world and universe all point to an intelligent designer not some random coming together of particles. John Squires April 25, 2015 at 10:58 AM I have two scientific degrees so I look at things scientifically as well. Good end evil is real, the spiritual realm is real and I have yet to see real proof of evolution...natural selection from a much greater gene pool than we understand and possible intelligently directed design. But man to change as much as they say he has in only tens of thousands of years, no way. Chance and probability say not possible. Mutation is almost always fatal. Just the random change of the order of two amino acids in the protein of the hemoglobin molecule is fatal (sickle cell anemia). Thought, telepathy and such things of the mind are also poorly understood at this time. Science an religion will come to the same end point some day, if we ever make it that far. The Lord is coming soon and the mark of the beast spoken of in the Bible is already being used in some places. That alone should open people's eyes.

I didn't get what I believe from organized religion and Churches but from the Lord. He has shown himself to me, taken me up to Heaven once and has healed me many times, twice of incurable diseases where I was crippled and given up on by the doctors. I do believe though that the Church as a whole is deficient in that you rarely see a demonstration of the Spirit and power that is needed by the people. Aliss Cresswell is one of the best to prove this and you can see her site at morningstareurope.org if you like. I appreciate your opinion since I was the same in the past. Blessings to you.
