God has given me many blessings too

my mind is open and my heart is pure 
yet my share of troubles I have endured 
but I'm okay, just making it from day to day 
I'm patiently waiting for blessings to come my way 

I used to think I was undeserving 
of whatever favors God was serving 
but I now know that's not true 
for God has given me many blessings too 

when I saw people with a whole lot of bucks
I used to wonder where was my share of that luck 
and when I viewed rich and famous celebrities 
all I could think is, what about me ?

I used to think I was undeserving 
Of whatever favors God was serving 
But I now know that's not true
For God has given me many blessings too 

life ain't about money, status nor fame 
It's about abiding to the principles of God's domain 
to be kind, to be grateful and to love your fellow man 
to build foundations of solid rock 
and not sinking sand 

I used to think I was undeserving 
of whatever favors God was serving 
but I now know that's not true
for God has given me many blessings too

now when I think of those times I went unscathed 
I know it was only by God's grace  I was saved 
and  when I was down to my last dime 
God blessed me with funds right on time 

yes, I used to think I was most undeserving 
of whatever favors the Lord God was serving 
but I now know that was never true 
for God has given me many blessings too
