God Bless Mothers
God bless the struggling mother,
Her fierce love is like no other,
When her babies cry,
She silently sighs.
For she knows,
That is the way it goes,
She will do what is needed to ensure,
Her family is safe and secure.
Two babies crying,
A four year old lying,
About who broke the lamp,
And why his pants are damp.
Waking with each little whimper during the night,
Soothing away fears and fright,
Making us laugh with sweet mommy charm,
While fighting to death to protect us from harm.
There is no rest as long as she may live,
If her children needs something she has to give,
Mothers may go but never fade away,
Still showing their love as grandmothers today.
