God Are You There
Knocked on heaven’s door,
Asking “God, are you there?”
No one answered…
I turned my back and about to run,
A hush of the wind,
His heartwarming embrace.
I knew it so well.
It was God, my Holy Father!
Looked in His merciful eyes
As my tears were about to fly
He held me and kissed my head.
“Father, I’m a sinner …”
His bright smile lightened my fears.
Woke up in the morning,
Brought incredible joy from my dream
“God are you there?”
