GOD
Waves on waves, there you were... I never did know.
Tempers to flare, tempers to glow.
All that time... not ever a tear.
Empty inside... for over 10 year.
No self-worth... all alone the thought.
At my side you were... and with HOPE you fought.
Parts of me left... parts of me died.
Never once, realized... did you leave my side.
Survived. And now life to live.
Thankful-grateful... for all that you give.
It's You and Your love that shines SO bright.
I pray (with might)... your saving grace each and every night.
