petting zoo aggression?
coiled haunch with head hung low
fibrous horns poised…
charge! crack! thud!
empty victories
beget
sad kings
weary actors on dusty stage
same lines
same script
strange skulls
hiding
glass-blank eyes
quiet ghosts
never
