Go To Hell

I don't believe in hell, it seems Unfeasible and frankly odd A myth of old medieval dreams And bad publicity for God Unfair to fickle lovers, fools And sorry sinners most contrite Too heavy on the fossil fuels Too scary for the kids at night But Ian Brady died today Who caused so many lights to dim And suddenly, I have to say I hope there is a hell for him © Gail Foster 15th May 2017

I did not know about this, and your poem made me look up the horrible story. I do not believe in hell either, but it woudl be a satisfying thought that people like that go to such a place.

Bravo Gail but hell is actually too good a place for that vile evil man along with Myra Hindley. I feel so so sorry for the mother of Keith Bennett who died without knowing where her son was buried I read the family are still trying to trace his remains so he can be given a proper burial :-( hugs jan xx

I stick to my belief that the state should not kill people but then is my wish for his eternal damnation in a hell that I do not believe in as bad as that, or worse even? Sigh. Anyway, his theoretical descent into the fiery realms has given me a good excuse to write about hell but in truth it is/was the relatives of the dead who have had to experience hell on earth through no fault of their own. Thank you for the read, Jan, and best wishes to you x Gail
