Go Thru To Get Thru

Life is not a bed of roses, a few prickly thorns
On the way. Filled with challenges, victories
And sorrow. When you overcome today, you’ll sure
Face another tomorrow.

These troubles and trials come to make us strong,
Am sure you would agree. At some point
In our life we will go through, and come out on
The other side with a wealth of knowledge that’s free.

No eyes have seen, no ears have heard, the natural mind
Find this all absurd. To think that God would allow the same
It’s all part of life and fallen man’s to blame.

And yes we all must do our part, wholly and solely from
The heart. And when troubles and trials come our way,
Count it all joy, James one verse two we should obey.

Thanks for writing this poem. We all know what it's like to have to go through to get through. And hopefully we are able to count it all as joy - even if it is after it's all over. Krista
