Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
No sense pretending that you're okay?

Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
Sometimes you need to let your heart have its way.

Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
Let those sad, depressing music notes play.

Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
There's no need right not to keep your tears at bay.

Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
I will help you tune out the words that they say.

Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
By your side, I will forever stay.

Go on, darling, it's okay to cry,
I will hold and protect you, come what may.
