Go Deeper
In our lives, we are told that there are winners and losers.
We must also be made aware that there are also finishers.
Finishers may or may not win, but they are never losers.
In nature, the roots must go deep before the growth can leap.
The roots keep going still deeper, even as the tree above creeps.
If nature demands a descent into the deep before rising in ascent,
all things being equal, may we learn to dive in if we expect to rise up.
In both the wild and civilized arena, we must learn to drink the bitter cup.
In nature, we soon discover that the cheetah runs faster than any other.
But he must capture his prey quickly, because his speed dissipates rapidly.
In the balance of nature, the slow moving turtle is not worried or ruffled.
In nature, at snail's pace, many species still finish the race and show their face.
