Go Climb That Tree !

"You cant climb that tree. You’re going to fall !"
Look at the man who is now grown and tall.
You used to run around in Alf under pants
Sometimes you would turn and do a little dance.
You were so happy and full of life
though our family was under the knife
You were to young to remember the all of the pain of back then
I am grateful it was me and not you that remembers back when
You got to keep your precious childhood memories in tact
You never had to try and rehearse some believable act.
You made it through it barely unscathed
While the rest of us went on feeling betrayed
I look at you now and see all you have done
how proud I am of how far you have come
You have managed to make it through this all;
So go climb that tree, I promise you wont fall
