Go Ahead And Cry Times when understanding is just too much to bear. Things going on inside of you there's just no way to share. Fear and doubt prevailing against all that ever mattered. Even all your dreams it seems have all but almost shattered. Temporary upsets and feelings in your heart. As you try to hold together what's left to fall apart. Times like that you wonder why it is you even try. Sometimes all you really need is to go ahead and cry. Letting go of all those things trapped inside your mind. When your giving up believing there is peace that you can find. When troubles all surround you and each chance that you take. Seems like a road to nowhere except one more heartache. When your friends all say the things that all friends do. But when you turn around no one's there with you. Wishing like a bird sometimes to spread your wings and fly. It's those times all you really need is to go ahead and cry. Edwin C Hofert

It is getting on for 3 months since he passed away - many of my poems have been influenced by his illness or events in my life since I started writing just 15 months ago:-) Without this outlet for my emotions I do not think i would be in the good place I am now:-) Hugs jan xx

I'm sorry for the loss of your dad. But I have no doubt he will be immortalized in your poetry! Hugs. Ed.
