Glow of the Universe

Warm spring sun talking to the trees, Bringing the glow of the universe nigh On the wings of a sweet-smelling breeze, Warm spring sun talking to the trees Bringing ol’ man winter to his knees, Growing season eliciting a hopeful sigh Warm spring sun talking to the trees, Bringing the glow of the universe nigh.

Oh, I love them myself. They are so easy to write. Well, I think so, anyway.

I love all the seasons me, but, its always nice when ol' man winter takes a rest, just loved the way your spring puts him to bed, a lovely uplifting Triolet, Milton . . . : )

Thanks so much, Indiana. I find the form works well for Spring poems. Simple, direct imagery.

You can say that again, Tom. He sure won't be around here. It's a beautiful spring day here, but I know there is colder weather to come. March is tricky!

I hope it is as nice outside as your poem, Milt! Gotta get away from the computer and outside myself!

I'm about ready to get outside, too. This is a perfect day!
