Glory and Pride

Can't you see I'm slipping
From the grip of what I knew
Every time I think of it
I dream it not to be true
Doubt is filling fast
That you and them will come through
But then again these feelings
Do not exist in you
I feel as though it's treason
But there is no point to prove
Because you begin to take away
The very trust i have in you
I do not hate the design
Only the man that hides behind
His glory and his pride
