Glorious Sunrise

Reprise the vision of a resplendent dawn each day as sunrise brushes the horizon with a pastel array, embellishing morning skies in lavender, pink and blue. Such divine beauty glorifies what words cannot convey I stare with mesmerized eyes, awestruck by the view. October 29, 2021 Something Beautiful 5 Line Rhyme Contest Sponsored by Charlie Messina

I'm flattered, David. It's my favorite time of day. Sadly, most never witness the beauty. Thanks so much.

You and I agree on the beauty of sunrises, Tom. Most people are enamored by sunsets, but the early morning skies are much more beautiful, I think partly because it's the beginning of something rather than an ending. You know I value your thoughts...thanks!

Thank you for such lovely remarks, Jan. I'm kind of partial to the beautiful photograph I found to accompany my lines. This is a contest that I enjoyed writing for, and win or lose, I'm happy with the result.
