O’er the snow-capped mountains Shines a blinding light Clouds shift in the distance Move with all their might Mountain peaks are glistening Tower over trees There’s a buzzing humming As the sound of peace Stars hang in the heavens Hiding in the light And the smile of sunshine Makes a brilliant sight Daylight's hopeful promise Beckons through the sky Streaking rays of luminance While the soft winds sigh Fresh cut grass is fragrant As the dew drops melt Spreading its aroma Across the prairie belt Icicles are melting Saturate the ground Freshness of the morning Once again is found Harmony is mastered Mother Nature grins As the light moves forward And the day begins
