Notes About The Poem

Written Easter Sunday - 5th April 2026

Gloria in Abundance

Today we praise God's precious only Son
Who gave His life so that our lives live on
He suffered pain, being nailed to a cross
To the world it was a sorrowful loss.

Lonesome hearts are aware how it does feel
Mother Marys sore heart did never heal
From losing her resplendent precious boy
Who came from Heaven, her pride and her joy.

Upon angel wings that will never cease
Breath of God flows o'er the whispering breeze
To enter hearts with His love, joy and grace
From the creator of the human race.

Bless Jesus who is there to hear our prayers
To guide us, though we may be unaware
That He sees all and redeems every fall
With His salvation to one and to all.

Pray constantly all worldly wars will cease
Gloria in abundance, induce peace.

By His stripes, we were given the opportunity to save ourselves. Amen and Allelulia. An excellent spiritual poem, dear Beryl.

Beryl, to say merely that this poem is beautiful and reverent would be an understatement. AMEN to each line. Janice
