Global Whamming

Global Whamming

Say each prayer while looking at tall trees,
Not harming their presence would you please,
And be careful while watching some storm,
As well as keeping our globe too warm.

should harm nothing please
say prayers looking at tall trees
globe heat not increase.

James Thomas Horn
Retired Veteran and Poet

Which one do you like the best?
That is better then all the rest.
I am trying to make encouraging
category for this poem. Makes
me think of Silent Spring by
Rachel Carson. Global warming
and whamming seem to be
becoming a big problem.

Haiku and couplets have such a different style and format. I feel comfortable with one then end up switching over to the other format. I forgot. Where are you writing from? Jim Horn
