Glass Dreams
You've shattered my understanding
Of what love is meant to be
I no longer see tomorrow
Meaning anything to me
You've twisted my expectations
On this journey for romance
A broken path that leads to pain
I didn't stand a chance
This coma that you've put me in
Confuses my very being
Blinded by the love I seek
It kept my heart from seeing
Wasted memories cast aside
They no longer have a need
A lesson learned the hard way
That causes my soul to bleed
You've change my every puropse
An ache that will not pass
Shattering all my hopes and dreams
For my dreams were made of glass
