Glad You'Re There
Your beauty is so soft
like the clouds aloft
or the pillows
that lay atop our bed.
This is where you share
your soul with me
Those burning desires fed.
The pleasure,
Is in way you love me.
The way you talk,
and interact
In social fair.
Fixed with poise and class.
I’m always glad you're there.
You fill those conversational gaps,
and that complements me so well.
Because,
my mind is quick to lose track
when
conversations go stale.
I think your goodness,
and earthy nature
was well cast at the hands
of the unfathomable.
It seems they have taken
every precaution imaginable.
And I’m left with the understanding
there must be a higher power.
Matching you and me,
their finest hour.
