Glad You Got It Sorted

England is surely not my homeland,
But their accents and easy going ways,
Makes me want to board a ship,
Set Sail for better days!

I wonder if they'll see the Queen,
Phillip, Will, George or cute Kate?
Perhaps I too will get the chance,
Oh hurry Ship...Do..Not...Delay!

Cheers!

An enjoyable pleasant poem, Judy. I've been to England many times. It's beautiful (and that's taking into account the dialects, too!) Wish the weather was a bit more reasonable!! ~ Regards // paul

Hi Paul "always" good to see you! England is quite a plane ride, otherwise I'd leave tomorrow! Take care, Judy

Hi Judy, England is a beautiful Country there again I'm biased as this is my Country, and as your poem says we have many dialects not many actually speak the Queens English, hope you do get to visit and when you do bring an umbrella. great poem a joy to read. :))

Hell Judy, happy to see you back! My only reason to go to England would be the spend several days in the British Museum and the Tate Gallery. I do love the British accent though I do have to strain my ear to understand. Best to you. / M
