Glacier

The emerald sea
Its fury can measure our own destiny
Because our life began in the sea
And unfortunately it can end in sea

Water has color of emerald hue
These clashes with glacier’s deep azure blue
Yet as this is the way it is supposed to be correct and true
But today of glaciers we have only few

Many glaciers have melted and towards the ocean would slip
This is verified by any north going ship
And it is not only polar bear that has reasons to weep
Winter will be colder because of ocean currents that run deep

While heat and humidity will swallow the Earth
Hopefully not until it is just bunch of dirt of no worth
If we take Earths’ soul it will not rebirth
And what future will then our children unearth

The glacier blue visage is beautiful and serene
Its deep azure mirror like surface makes for wonderful scene
Around it ocean emerald green
This beauty by our children also should be seen

And who knows after all
What is hidden in glacier’s frozen soul
Maybe the one who designed it was ultimate greatest consciousness of them all
Words equal from base and edge of thought so saving glaciers could be good for life and soul
