Giving Up

The endless winter's in my soul -
The desperation takes its toll.
My mourning star shines in the sky.
My every dream was just a lie.

My passion left me all alone.
Am I just my own empty clone?
I see no hope, no saving grace.
I'm gonna die here in this place.

All my mistakes, the ones I hurt...
I'm suffocating with my fault.
And all my scars no longer ache,
Because there's nothing left to break.

Two important lines that stayed with me after reading your poem..."My mourning star shines in the sky.' and " And all my scars no longer ache, Because there's nothing left to break." They are freedom lines...After the storm...All the best to you
