GIVING THANKS

You want my presence
The gifts I paid for with life
You want to enjoy them...in silence
Lest a WORD I speak bring you strife

You want games and laughter
The joy that comes with peace
You want assurance of blessing
But you want no reminder of me

Do you feel that gall rising
From somewhere deep in your pit
Do you feel the bitter sorrow
Of TRUTH being ripped

Do you see the mirror shattered
Yet again at the sight of black
Do you grieve the loss of LOVE
When all HE did was give...without lack

Wail, pound your fists upon the ground
While ZION soars away on your flight
She is done with possibility
As TIME is wrapped up in ETERNAL WHITE LIGHT
