Give This Moment Affection
Delight in this second
Spin her around in your
feeling machine.
Laugh if she sits
on the edge, grinning
at you with her all-knowing look.
Savor that look because
you might spend eons re-living
it. This might be the best
glance, and the most terrific
feeling you will ever have.
Give this moment affection.
Treat her with kindness. Revel in
her fantastic attitude. Squeeze
her in a heartfelt way.
There is always the chance
That this second, this moment,
This glimpse, this person, this day,
might be the only second left.
