Just a prayer

Give Me Dignity

Grant me Oh Lord,
Insight, that I may see what must be seen.
Vanquish the spirit of selfishness within me.
Expel the desire for vengeance.

Make me forgiving that I may be forgiven.
Eradicate temptation to all uncleanliness.

Do not turn away from me Oh God.
Instead restore me to Thy favor.
Give me intelligence that I may understand.
Neaten the way before me that I may see clearly the path that I must take.
I know I have disappointed You Oh Lord.
Teach me Your ways that I may be pleasing in Your sight.
You alone are my God and You are all I need.

                               Amen
