Since you walked out on me dear
my life has been so blue.
Since you walked out on me
I don't know what to do.
I have tried to love again
I've tried to find someone new,
But these are things I can't explain
and just can't seem to do.
For when you were here with me
my heart belonged to you,
And when you left me all alone
I guess my heart left too,
And you know you cannot love
unless you have a heart.
For a heart that's filled with love
is the most important part.
So won't you please pardon me
I don't want to interfere.
but could you give me back my heart
for I need it so my dear,
but if loosing it makes you lonely
or if it makes you blue,
Think of the way that I must feel
and maybe you'll come too.
Then I'll have my heart so full of love
and never again be blue,
But not only will I have my heart,
my darling I'll have you.
