Give It Time To Heal
We can’t change what has happened,
And drive those clouds away.
It doesn’t really matter,
Is something we can’t say.
To let go of the painful
And hold on to the good,
And make our problems disappear
But only if we could.
We’ve learned a lot from past mistakes
That leave there painful marks.
We also learned the price it takes
To free our guilty hearts.
There’s still a lot we’d like to do
But time is flying fast.
So lets not dwell on negatives
But stick to what is real.
And if you still are hurting
Just give it time to heal.
