Give and Take

Here
You May
Have it All
I am glad to
Give

What?
Again?
You’re always
So willing to
Take

Thank you Anne-Lise. If the takers knew what the givers know, they would readily give.

Thank you so much. As soon as I thought "give" I immediately saw "take".

Good luck in the contest Caren, I like this poem - some people only know how to take and never give - well said. Poetry hugs, Jennifer.

I feel sorry for the takers; I try to tell them sometimes that the best, fastest ways to relieve stress, depression, anxiety, and sadness is to help someone else. Unfortunately, they do not believe me. They cannot trust me for they do not trust themselves. Alas.

As a wise man told me when I started out in life: 'Be a giver; not a taker.' You are in exalted company, my friend. This man, my unofficial mentor, was a master teacher; best I've ever seen. He could tame the most lion-like students. I'm still learning from him 15 years after I last saw him teach... :) gw

Giving to others always comes back to you in unexpected wonderful ways eventually.

It was easy once I started with "give" and "take". It pretty much wrote itself down.
