Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Let’s take out our apron, girls Jiggle and dance, do sizzling twirls Long weekday-chores were done Now, it’s time to have some fun Leave for a while our weekdays’ trek Spruce ourselves for longer break Have a real fantastic party Forget some worries, be happy We, all girls just wanna have fun Have hangouts ‘til the set of sun We do need relaxation time Good for our body, beauty and mind We can go for nightlife Movie, disco, not on gambling flight But be good girls, always remember Nice girls go home beyond wee hours We, sometimes go on frolic Forget work schedules, so hectic Smile and laugh, give ourselves a treat Forget those boys just a little bit Boys out there are waiting Eyes on us while we’re giggling Leave them all drooling Once and a while, let’s go shopping We, all girls just wanna have fun Have hangout ‘til the set of sun We all need relaxation time Good for our body, beauty and mind June 29,2015 8.40 pm.

Love the upbeat style of your poem, Leonora. I also remember the song...'90s right? Hmmn...been a long time I went out to have fun, lately I seem to spend available time at PSoup...hahaha. My friends are wondering what's happening...You get to enjoy at least...Loved this! hugs!

However, since our roles on the show were only impersonators, singers and dancers, we were given funny names. I was Cyndi Loca (so some friends call me cyndi here for popularity just once, lol) At first I sang "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Then next was, Money. :)) With me were my friends named as Diana Lost and Found, Tina Gas Burner, Madonnat, and Pweetny Houston :) Thank you so much for the lovely hugs my beloved sis and BFF. Hi, dearest Sis of mine! Thank you once again. In fact I also wrote this poem with the inspiration of my experience in past 2 yrs, impersonating Cyndi Lauper in a small fun entertainment group( lipsinging and dancing) with originally 5 members. :)))) ......continue.......

Hi, my dearest sis and BFF, Linda! Thank you so much for sharing with me your precious times to read my humble poem and your very inspiring comments. Thank you, thank you sooo much. I'm so sorry if I came only now cuz of health snag (flu) and time constraint 'cuz of school work and exam. This morning, I went to see the doctor and thanks God , she said I'm already ok and I can stop my medication. So happy to hear from you my loving sis of mine. Hope you're well too. You're in my heart, thoughts and prayers always. Hugs and smiles to you !

Yes, you're right my dear friend Njeri. Girls need day out, too. We're doing it here sometimes with my colleagues especially if we have holidays or no Saturday class but now, so rare. Our work sched became more hectic. Meanwhile, I go for aerobics after work in the evening or go out with mom.
