Girlfriend That Never Happened

She passes me almost everyday
At the same spot and time of day.
It used to be a smile and a little wave,
Then to a glance and a smirk I'd say.
After a glance came a look away
Added by a dirty look some days.
I did nothing wrong I'd say,
I gave her my all and she threw that away.

We used to kiss and laugh, all seemed right.
Then I went on a trip and has some great nights.
She promised she would be there when I got back,
But all I seen was a girl covering her back.
Lies and excuses she threw my way,
Now all i get is a dirty look all day.

But even after she threw me away,
I still find myself thinking her way.
We could have dated, and been happy together,
But she chose to say to that, naeh.
So in the end all I can say,
Is I hope she sees what she threw away.
