Girl Child

Hey! Look it's a girl child, On hearing this he went wild. 'I don't want that curse' , he said, All his conditions were laid. Her mother cried the whole night, When he said "remove her from my sight". She took the girl and left him for good, Wandering without home without food. The girl grew up to be strong and bold, Numerous stories of hardships she was told. ~Jia
