Gifts of Joy
Terrace
overlooking
ripening fields
waves of golden
dancing wheat
poppy red cheeks
beauty bread mix
sloping down
to azurin sea
veil of stars
meeting horizon
autumn colored
satin lit
splendor of sun
lowering lid
on roses and lilies
retiring to sleep
points of lights
in darkness glide
fishermen catch
to home arrive
blue red flowers
in chocolate wine
time to uncork
bubbling wine
fire of violets
silvery sparks
foiled gold hearts
fireflies' lights
one happy year
of love
gone by
another
to love you
even more
coming
purple ballons
floating with white
leaving hands
coloring night
laughter of friends
romancing tune
under a tent
of flickers
and moon
like dew drop
in memory box
gifts of joy
that vanish
forgotten
sighing for love
to return
and re-sparkle.
