Giddy Retirement Days

Some days are up, others are down
Little setbacks wear a big frown
  Every ache or pain, magnified
Tingles and twinges our battle cries

  Offered a plethora of seminars
Telling us 'bout how lucky we are
To benefit from sophisticated financial planning
~ Though we spend all our money on MRI scanning

Well put, Gershon. I can relate entirely to your couplet. Specialists, doctor's appointments, blood tests, brain scans, you name them, I m having them. If I could jump up and down, I would rattle. It has become my social life. Old age is not for cowards. I hope you are feeling well at the moment, Gershon, it could all change minute by minute. lol!

Thank you, Shirley. Right this moment, I feel fine. But like you say, who knows a minute from now?! ... I too feel like I could rattle. Maybe we both should head for Texas and become rattlesnakes. lol. Peace, Gershon
