Ghost Ships

Ships of mist collide,
Far from eerie...midnight shores:
Battle of the damned.

"Ships of mist"... I love that description! I wonder if these ships are actually real or just what the mist over the ocean makes you think of. Either way a good haiku!

I've been reading a few of your haikus more traditional than mine. Nice work and thanks for leaving words at Perry Mason.

This is great haiku for me to read, and like Ruben says, metaphoric, which I always enjoy.

This is a dark, mysterious side of nature.....I can see two fog banks merging....colliding over the ocean...you captured this picture in my mind. You still write beautifully, Raul!

Interesting work..I can see a scene with ships at sea in a fog colliding but I don't think that is what you really intend..Thanks for stopping by..Sara

Nice to hear from you again Sara, It's been some time since I been around. My intent was late night fog, taking the shape of ships and colliding into one another. In the continuation of an ancient battle that never seems to cease.
