If Eros wasn’t a god, And if I wasn’t a mortal man, My life would be simple but odd: But is never falling in love at all worse than Never falling prey to an unresponsive woman?

May the unresponsive woman stay away from you! I do believe feeling "love" is important in life, but falling for an unresponsive person can be very painful.
