Ghost Dance 2

They danced; grey and black and white
Spirits of long-lost family members
Shades that found no forever rest
All the ghosts danced on that ethereal night

They danced, flickering through the trees
Phantoms of memories faded from life
Spectral forces swirling in the air
Weaving to ghost music on an eerie breeze

They danced to make this night the last
Banshee wails and will-o-wisp tricks
All the ghosts tied to this realm
All the ghosts trapped in the past

And so they danced for tomorrow
For what they left and what they will never find
As just echoes of deaths and final wishes
Doomed to live in sorrow
They danced
