Ghost

Her perfume still lingers like a ghost in the air...
I turn my ear to a faint noise, but nothing is there...
I lie in this somber bed still tasting her tears...
Apparitions in the hall slowly disappear...
There's nothing in my heart now... Nothing at all...
Through these shattered memories I can only crawl...
I feel her warm touch in still of the night...
Knowing only in my dreams will we reunite...
