Ghana vote tomorrow
Peace we need not sorrow
Comedy everywhere not horror
Our choice be reflected like a mirror
Who so ever wins we follow as our hero
Turn not our birthplace into queues and terror
For that is the only country we have to cope
Her abundance in peace we can live and hope
Let go not the peace that keeps us united like a rope
Else each and every one of us would be bound to drop
And that will be indeed a cavity in the bone marrow
A fight is a fight even with that of the pillow
In prayer congregation we are gathered for the polls to be peaceful
So that the future of the generations yet unborn would be successful
And the future of this great and wonderful nation would be colourful
We pray for peace and peace is that which we all crave for in sections
let there be peace before, during and after the elections
God bless our home land Ghana
