Getting Up
The getting down is easy Sir,
A feat most folks can do.
To snuggle in your big warm bed;
And sleep the whole day through.
Get up from your easy chair.
You have a race to run.
There is no time to doze or play,
There's work that must be done.
The getting down is easy Sir.
But rise and drink life's cup.
You''ll make no progress if you're down;
Take courage and get up.
