Getting the Covid Vaccine
As soon as I heard I had a golden ticket
I jumped in my car and quickly seat belt clicked it
I drove to the pharmacy as fast as I could
Faster than an oldster like me ever should
I ran in wearing my mask, and booties on my shoes
People were social distancing, our masks were in blues
I filled out the form and yelled hip hip hooray!
Going to get the Covid vaccine right away!
The pharmacist smiled, he was glad I was happy.
He said bring in your man, making me feel sappy.
So I brought my husband in at a quarter to three.
And they also gave him the vaccine, delighting me!
