Get the Facts Before You Attack

Why am I under assault
When the problems not my fault
Getting screamed at isn't helping
Raising your voice and start "yelping"
At me in a high pitched tone
Go away, leave me alone
When your calm then we can talk
Till then turn away and walk
Out of here, give me some space
Before your punched in the face
By my "evil" side you woke
Because of the words spoke
The accusations are not real
Think about how you would feel
If I stood in front of you
Doing what you put me through
You'd be hurt and so upset
Heartache you'd never forget
So please don't over react
Before getting all the facts
Stop--don't listen to the lies
Then you just might realize
Other people like to spread
Rumors that fill up your head
Just because they want to be
Mean spreading pain and misery
You can leave this pain behind
If you listen with your heart, not mind
