Dear John, lol! This made me smile! I think often about how shakespeare would react to certain things. I once received a poem which was very interesting about contests. It was for a contest i sponsored called “ NA” so basically i received poems that got NA and this poet made some valid points. I dont remember the poet but the poem i do remember. My goodness, John you are making me smile (and laugh too). It's funny to me how many people write for the contests. I actually don't understand the challenge, but what do I know? There are a lot of reasons for writing, but I think the best is to share something heartfelt and real. "Each to his own," he said as he kissed the cow.

HEY....DON'T DROP THAT QUILL....just take the contest theme and have some fun with it. I often use them on poems that I don't enter but do post.
