With dense mist adrift you dance cadenced slow, amid your steps my stalled heart beats return. Out of sight, you shape in me your shadow. When from chilled horizon northern winds blow, frozen cloud clumps spread dark shroud on spent sun, with dense mist adrift you dance cadenced slow. Now you saunter in my sunshine meadow, in my hued dream to an angel you turn, out of sight, you shape in me your shadow. The spurt of your luring scent I follow, your elusive trail I won’t stop to yearn. With dense mist adrift you dance cadenced slow. The sunburst sky makes my craving mind glow, you stoke my fiery passion where I burn. Out of sight, you shape in me your shadow. In twilight I cross life’s landscape fallow, the pain of longing heart you can’t discern. With dense mist adrift you dance cadenced slow, out of sight, you shape in me your shadow.
