Get On With It
Get on with it
Don't just sit there & cry
Get on with it
There's no reason to let your heart die
Thinking that maybe there's been a change
Thinking that maybe you could step out of the rain
Confusion surrounds all of your thoughts
While wondering if you should slip into all you have fought
Somewhere deep inside your heart wants to sing
You want to set it free and let it fly on mended wings
But all you can think of is the pain of before
How can it fly with wings clipped to short to soar
Maybe while you're standing there just soaking in the rain
The drops that are falling are simply leaving a stain
The longer that you soak the deeper it will be
You need to step out of the rain if you're ever going to see
That you'll never know if those wings can mend
I f you'll never allow your sadness to end
Get on with it
Don't just sit there and cry
Get on with it
There's no reason to let your heart die.
