Get Low Low

I got pushed further down Into the heart of the black hole My heart torn to the unknown My mind became a blanket of coal My tears covered me whole Drenched in pain, living tamed Alcohol gave me the soul and the goal The only friend that gave me a taste of the wild Borderline to the normal Fenced to the abnormal Labelled for mental instability Even family evaded, no more usability My sunken face, my unappealing fashion My mind with its many characters, always ready for action My dear friend the drink, who daily I held Higher I got with it, then lower I got to the cold Casarah Nance contest July 21 2015

You brought us into different realm. I suspect when you are this low you can only start to go up from there.

Yes its a life of someone close to me who has mental illness and also deals with alcoholism. Thank u Kim

Njeri, If Low is worth the Highest honor, you have earned it, with your soul. Most people in my country have not traveled abroad or if they have, not outside the tourist zones. No matter how Low we think we have it in the US, there are many places in this world where it's Low Low. Take care my friend. a 7 and a winner
